This two-day workshop is designed to provide consultants and trainers the principles and techniques that will enhance their ability to facilitate organizational change efforts.

OVERVIEW

This workshop stresses the importance of change in organizations today. This workshop addresses the reasons most change efforts fail. Participants will learn to develop strategies to better ensure the success of the change effort. They will learn how to anticipate and reduce resistance to change efforts, manage transitional states, and enhance their understanding of and ability to guide organizations through those changes.

• Examine how their own attitude toward change can impact their ability to implement change efforts

• Understand the roles of a facilitator of change

• Review models of change that will enhance an understanding of and ability to guide a change effort

• Learn how to anticipate, reduce, and manage resistance to change efforts by individuals and teams within organizations

• Discuss how to institute change at each step of the process

• Examine change strategies to ensure better success of the change effort

• Discuss and understand techniques to manage the organization during intermediate stages of the change implementation

• Develop a list of the tools, tips, and techniques that help you better facilitate organizational change

• Examine readiness for change and how to build a change coalition to ensure implementation.
