OVERVIEW
Extended DISC is a state-of-the-art assessment tool that assists you
in identifying individual personal styles to improve performance.
Extended DISC assessments are pragmatic, concise and easy-to-use and
provide a practical model that improves individual, team and
organizational performance. This tool is based on the world's most
accepted concepts of human behavior founded on the psychological
theory of Carl G. Jung.

OVERVIEW OF THE EXTENDED DISC SYSTEM:
The system is designed to provide users with practical action plans to
enhance individual, team and organizational performance. It provides
customized and powerful reports on individuals, teams and
organizations. However, Extended DISC is much more than a set of
assessment tools. Although assessments have proven to be very
beneficial in numerous applications, assessments alone have a limited
impact on performance. It is only when the information from the
assessments is applied in practice that the value is created.
Extended DISC provides us with a framework to help make the necessary
adjustments at the individual, team and organizational level to
achieve our objectives. The framework is easy to learn and use and it
enhances performance.
Extended DISC is based on the premise that there are no good or bad
people - there are only different people. We all have the opportunity
to improve ourselves by learning to recognize our individual strengths
and weaknesses, and by accepting their existence and by searching for
new ways to capitalize on them.
Extended DISC describes the person's natural reaction mode or
behavioral style in different situations. It enables the person to
better understand one's own and other's behavior, and to adjust one's
own behavior to better suit the situation. It also assists in avoiding
unnecessary problems in communication and helps people, teams and
organizations to become more successful.
Process: Participants complete a 24-item Personal Analysis Form and
return it to a scoring center for compilation of individual, team, and
organizational profiles. For less than 25 Extended DISC reports, use
the UA Scoring Center. Otherwise we can install the Extended DISC
software on your computer so that you can do the scoring yourself.
The software includes a text bank of more than 115 million different
pages to ensure individually specific results. Extended DISC is fully
computerized and identifies 160 different behavioral styles. Reports
can be easily customized to meet individual and organizational needs.
Training Courses: Also available with the Extended DISC System are
complete one-day training packages. Courses include:
COURSE METHODOLOGY:
This course is structured to provide maximum practice, group
interaction and feedback. The course leader will contract with each
participant for individual feedback and coaching.
